Jayden had a smashing Safari themed first birthday party. There were so many games and oh the dessert table is just decked with so so many treats! There were animal cupcakes, animal cake pops, chocolate bugs, and liqourish snakes slithering everywhere! What a lucky lucky boy!

There were lots of games too! There was sand art, decorate your own party cups, tattoos, paint your own animal frames, and Yee Send the party planner had also planned out musical chairs, racing snake game and eat the apple hanging on a string!

Here are the shots from the party. Since I was pregnant (yes I am!) I had an assistance, Sih Han to help me out. So credit also goes to him for his shots for the evening!

Here’s the second session. This one is a bundle of fun I tell you! Thanks so much Sue Win for the opportunity to capture the beautiful moments of your fun and loving family. It was truly a wonderful experience and I had a great time! I hope your family did too.

Sue Win found my website/blog through google. I’m so excited because finally I can be found via google!

Sue Win has in mind for me to shoot her entire family as in her family with her inlaws as well as her family with her parents, aunts and brothers. So we had to split the shoot into two days and did it over two weekends. On top of that her youngest boy Jayden was turning one and I was to shoot his birthday too! Phew! I was overjoyed with the opportunity!

Here is the first leg of the shoot of Sue Win with her in laws i.e on her husband’s side. Shoot was done at their lovely home and park near their home at Setia Ecopark. This is an amazing housing area with lovely well planned township and little parks neatly tucked in between the houses. So lovely!

Funny thing I don’t do that many shoots at Lake Gardens, or also known as Taman Tasik Perdana. It really is a very nice and huge park. So I decided to do my shoot for Sofi Chan there.

I got there nice and early. I was surprised to see that the park was so crowded at 8.30am. I turned out, there was a marathon or some event happening! So I sat there with my baby basket and bunch of balloons at the corner of the park while waiting for Sofi to arrive. People were really curious to see me sitting with a bunch of balloons!

Sofi arrived not long after and we headed to our location for the shoot. We started off with Mikhail. Like any 3 year old, he could not resist the playground and ran around and enjoyed himself tremendously. I had quite a work out too! Then we moved on to 5 month old Misha. What a natural I must say! That girl is meant for commercial shoots!

The day turned out great and I had some great shots!

Thank you so much Sofi for engaging me. I hope you enjoyed the shoot as much as I did.

Alisya was around 2 years old while Adriana was 4 months old at the time of the shoot. Both sisters including mummy and daddy were totally comfortable being infront of the camera, which made my job very easy!

Adriana was just able to sit up so we could put her in a bumbo seat but still a very sleepy baby so was asleep most of the time during the shoot.

We chose Taman Rimba TTDI for the shoot as it was close by for the family.

When I had an enquiry to shoot an aqiqah at The Binjai, I was over the moon haha! When else would I have an opportunity to get into this property! Super jakun moment :D

When I arrived, everything was all set. They had little give away gift boxes for each guests and apparently in them were cupcakes! And each were tagged with baby Omar’s photo on it. I thought that was really sweet. Omar’s grandmother made the manisan herself and I loved how it was placed on silver platters. Simple but so elegant. Slowly the guests trickled in. When the orang masjid arrived, the event started. First with prayers, then the cukur jambul and then everyone adjourned to a lunch spread downstairs in the function hall.

It was a sweet little event for family and close friends.

Whats more meaningful than getting to celebrate your birthday with your classmates! A class full of chuckles and giggles and not to mention cheeky smiles. Alyff celebrated his 5th birthday at his school at Kinderland Kota Damansara.

Alyff’s party was held during his class’s break time. His mum had taken the day off to set up for his party. The interesting thing about celebrating birthdays at Kinderland is that, apparently they would not freely give the kids sweets during the party. They only give it to them after school is over. And that is very responsible of the school. Well done!

So what was in store for Alyff’s party? A Special Agent OSO’s birthday cake! Such an ADORABLE cake with Special Agent OSO and his friends (I don’t know what they are called :D ) sitting on top in fondant. Cakes nowadays are seriously so awesome. There was also a Buzz Light Year Pinata. Also a favorite cartoon character of Alyff. After cake cutting, and cake eating, his classmates were shrieking around happily blowing party blowers wearing party hats. Then came the pinata where Alyff’s whole class get to have a go and pulled the pinata open. It was a “pull type” pinata, :)

The awesome Special Agent OSO Cake!

The very happy birthday boy!

Alyff’s whole class. Aren’t they adorable!

Having a blast!

Finally pinata time!

Finally I have completed the 2012 packages!

This shoot is not recent. Since I am compiling all my previous shoots into this brand new websites, many of these posts are from shoots in from the last few years.

I got to know Nina through my personal blog many years ago. Nina is a Malaysian who lives in Netherlands. On one trip back to Malaysia, she decided to do a photoshoot for her family. So she contacted me and we planned the whole shoot while she was still in Netherlands.

We did the shoot the day after they arrived. I think it was sometime in March when we did this shoot and needless to say, from chilly Netherlands to warm and sunny Malaysia, the Van Der Veen family needed some time to adjust to the heat! Nevertheless we got the photos we wanted.

What a family! Its the hugest family I’ve shot to date!

This family actually congregated from all over the world because the youngest daughter is getting married. The other four brothers actually live all around the world. Its a very international family! So with this rare reunion, they took the opportunity to get a family shoot done! Best idea ever! This was the time Carcosa Seri Negara was still open. We did this shoot just a few months before they closed down.

So they arranged a little tea party, and I shot each family while the others tuck into tea.

And what beautiful moments I managed to capture! This family is so loving and fun!

Here’s what we got that afternoon
